The VA Finger Lakes Healthcare System will be providing both COVID and flu vaccines as flu season approaches.
Both the Calkins Road VA Clinic and the Canandaigua VA are holding walk-in flu clinics.
The Canandaigua VA will hold flu shot clinics in Building 1 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Sept. 21, 22, 23, 28 and 30, and in Oct. on Oct. 4, 6, 19 and 21.
Drive thru flu clinics will be available at the location on Oct. 13 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Oct. 23 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The Canandaigua location is currently taking appointments for the COVID vaccine for Sept. 1, 22, 23 and 28, as well as Oct. 4, 6 and 21. The appointments are made for 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on those days.
The Calkins Road VA Clinic in Henrietta is providing walk-in flu shots from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 14, 15, 22, 24 and 28. COVID shots will also be available at this tine.
