More than 700 Bills season-ticket holders request refund after vaccine requirement

More than 700 season tickets for the Buffalo Bills have been returned by fans following the announcement of a vaccine mandate.

According to a Bills spokesperson, 762 season ticket holders requested a prorated refund by Friday’s deadline. In doing so, they will lose their seniority and seat.

On Tuesday, Erie County and Pegula Sports and Entertainment announced a vaccine mandate for all events at Highmark Stadium and Key Bank Center. That includes all Bills and Buffalo Sabres games.

Fans 12 and over must have proof of at least one vaccine by Sunday’s home game and must be fully vaccinated by October 31.

Anyone under the age of 12 must wear a mask at all times.
