Man accused of grabbing dog by throat during domestic, throwing it to the ground

The Seneca Falls Police Department reports the arrest of a local man following a domestic incident over the weekend.

On Friday, September 17 police arrested Brian Hennessy, 49, of Seneca Falls following an incident where he allegedly damaged property and grabbed a dog by the throat.

The dog, which was owned by the victim, was thrown onto the ground.

As result, Hennessy was charged with two counts of torturing and injuring animals, and criminal mischief.

The charges will be answered at a later date.
