Three kittens left to die in Auburn parking lot: One survives as police investigate

The Finger Lakes SPCA of CNY and police in Auburn are investigating an animal cruelty case — and now they are requesting the public’s help.

Three kittens were left in a bag in a parking lot in the back of the Holiday Inn on North Street in the city of Auburn, according to police. Two of the kittens died — while the third and only survivor is being treated at a local clinic.

There aren’t any security cameras in the area, but police are asking for the public’s help to find who was responsible.

Anyone with tips can call the SPCA or Auburn police at 315-707-8147 or 315-253-3231.
