With vaccine cards being paper, many people are choosing to laminate them to keep them safe, but that’s not a good idea.
Dr. Alex Jahangir, part of Metro’s Coronavirus Task Force in Tennessee, said that with boosters coming out, those administering the shots need to be able to write on the cards to add to them.
He suggests using a luggage tag as a way to protect it.
Many people already laminated their cards, but that’s okay.
Next time you get a booster they can get a second vaccine card. You can also replace a lost card by contacting your local health department.
