The retail sale and use of marijuana is something the Penn Yan Village Board is considering.
A discussion on the topic will be held next Tuesday, and the board and officials would like to hear what the public thinks about the topic.
The Village has until Dec. 31 to decide if they want to opt out of retail sales. The pressure comes from the fact that once the deadline passes, the village can not choose to opt out again.
The hearing will begin at 6:05 p.m. and face masks are required.
