School started a week ago for the Auburn Enlarged City School District and there are already 30 isolations for both students and staff.
District Superintendent Jeff Pirozzolo said a lot of kids didn’t even make it to school to start because of community exposure.
He emphasized that the district is following all mandates and guidelines to do everything possible to remain open.
He asks that parents remain attentive in watching to see if their kids don’t feel well, waiting for results of a COVID test before sending them to school, and to keep talking to them.
