A Seneca Falls man was taken into custody after attempting to strike two people with a shovel during an incident in town.
Ronald Manino, was arrested following an altercation on Haigh Street. It happened a little after 12 p.m. on Saturday, according to police, who say Manino attempted to strike the individuals with a shovel after a verbal altercation.
Due to a previous conviction — he was charged with felony criminal possession of a weapon.
Manino was transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility for arraignment.
No injuries were reported.
