A pair of Sodus men have been arrested after attacking a vehicle with an axe and AK-47.
Deputies say Nathan Rodriguez, 19, and Joshua Hofer, 18, both Sodus residents, were arrested on September 3 after an investigation into a disturbance.
It happened in the village of Sodus, according to a news release, which indicated that Rodriguez fired at an occupied vehicle with an AK-47 while Hofer used an axe to strike the same individual and vehicle.
Both were charged with felony assault, criminal mischief, and menacing. Rodriguez was also charged with reckless endangerment, criminal possession of weapon — two classes and counts — as well as Hofer facing a reckless endangerment and criminal possession of a weapon charge.
The charges will all be answered at a later date in local court.
