The annual Mutt Strut hosted by the Humane Society of Wayne County will be Sept. 12 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Silver Hill Technology Park.
The park is located of Route 88 in Newark.
The theme for this year is “Who Let The Dogs Out” and participants are encouraged to dress up their dog.
If someone needs a dog to walk there are shelter dogs available.
Prizes are available for the best dog and human costumes.

Vendors and refreshments will be available as well as wine tasting, silent auctions, raffles and door prizes.
Dogs must have their vaccinations, not be in heat, be sociable with other dogs, be monitored for heat sensitivity at the event, stay on a leash and under control, and they must be picked up after.
