Early Wednesday morning a Dresden man drove his car into Seneca Lake before being charged for driving while intoxicated.
Police responded to an address on Locust Grove Road in the town on Benton around 6:20 a.m. for the report of a suspicious person.
Upon further investigation, it was discovered that Mark Ramirez, 21, had hit a tree which sent his car into the lake.
After field sobriety tests he was taken to the sheriff’s office for a chemical testing and awaited arraignment.
