The Fayette Town Board has decided to end its contract with the Waterloo Volunteer Fire Department for their services beginning Dec. 31 of this year.
The Waterloo Town Board also ended their contract with Waterloo VFD as well and plans to use Border City Fire Department in 2022.
The reason for fire departments meeting and changing boundary lines is because taxpayer’s money were going between two fire departments.
Fire departments were asked to meet and discuss boundaries that would work for everyone, including residents.
