When Governor Kathy Hochul was getting ready to introduce Brian Benjamin as her Lt. Gov., she brought up mask mandates for schools in the state of New York.
She expressed her goal of just getting kids back into school after everything they’ve been through.
She said she just wanted to get children back into a nurturing environment and that in order to do so a mask mandate must be in place to protect children and teachers.
“Get used to it, my friends! I’m going to make sure that that environment for school is safe for our children, teachers, and administrators, so that’s why we’re going to have that across the state of New York,” Hochul said.
