Yates County will discuss whether or not to mandate masks again this Friday

Yates County will be discussing whether the county needs to go back to mandating masks following a spike in COVID cases.

The meeting will be a special meeting at 1 p.m. on Friday with the Legislature’s human services committee.

Ontario and Wayne Counties have gone back to requiring face masks in county buildings.

Seneca County has not gone back to requiring masks, but it was a topic of discussion at Tuesday’s Board of Supervisors meeting.
