There’s a new governor in New York.
At a procedural ceremony at midnight on Tuesday, August 24, 2021, Kathy Hochul was sworn in as the 57th Governor of the State of New York.
She inherits a long list of issues and challenges from former Governor Andrew Cuomo, who left office at midnight.
