The New York State Police detail have view nice things to say about working with Cuomo, following the report that included a Trooper on his detail that claims he sexually harassed her.
One of the issues appears to be Cuomo side-stepping the structure in place for police detail and who would be protecting him.
According to senior investigator and president of the New York State Police Investigators Association, Timothy Dymond, the former governor went as far as choosing who went where, what their rank was, who rode in the car, who had good or bad posts, and created an overall negative environment within that detail.
Normally the superintendent or rank structure decides where people will work, not the governor.
Dymond said the state police looks forward to a governor that will allow them to do their job to keep her safe.
