Mike Richards has stepped down as the new host of Jeopardy almost as fast as he was announced the new host.
The show will now start using guest hosts again like it was before.
The Ringer website shared offensive comments Richards has apparently made in the past, to which Richards stated it pains him that they cast a shadow on Jeopardy! just as it starts a new chapter.
Production for the new season began Thursday, so some new episodes have been recorded. Tapings for Friday have been cancelled.
Richards is still going to be the executive producer of the show.
