A youth services program coordinator for Rochester Regional Health is urging parents to keep an eye on their kids anxiety levels as school gets closer.
Children sometimes have trouble expressing anxiety, and get the cues from their parents.
Bill Pearson, the youth services coordinator, says staying positive and acting excited will help avoid the negative talk and feelings.
He also suggests having children wear masks before going back if they aren’t used to them.
School counselors are great resources for parents regarding these topics.
