Sgt. Carl Chamberlain served in World War II and carried a camera throughout his tour as a paratrooper.
Now his son Michael is donating the 900 photos collected to the Library of Congress.
Michael will deliver the photos on September 21 for their Veterans History Project, which will be filled with photos, letters, and documents from over 110,000 veterans.
Chamberlain’s photos are one of the biggest donations of photographs ever made.
Carl Chamberlain passed away at the age of 73 in 1993.
