An asteroid has been determined to have a possible chance of crashing into Earth in the 22nd century.
NASA has collected data on Asteroid Bennu and determined there is a 1 in 1,750 chance of it hitting Earth.
The asteroid is 1,700 feet wide and while the chances are higher than originally thought, they’re nothing to fret over.
The chance of impact between today and the year 2135 is slim, and about 0.06% between 2135 and 2300.
At some point in the not-so-near future the asteroid will come closer to Earth than the moon.
