Farmer’s Almanac and NOAA release their winter predictions for 2021-2022

The Farmer’s Almanac has released their prediction for the winter season, calling it a “frosty flip-flop winter.”

The prediction for the Western New York Region is for a typical winter with a stormy January and tranquil February.

This includes temperatures ranging from normal to below normal, normal amounts of snow, winter storms during January into February, and final storms in March.

The NOAA forecast suggests a mild and wet pattern, which is similar to what the winter looked like last year.
