Decades themed celebration will be held at Museum of Wayne County History August 28th

A 20th Century Decades Party will be happening at the Museum of Wayne County History August 28th, hosted by the Wayne County Historical County.

The event requires tickets and will run from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. on the lawn at 21 Butternut St. in Lyons.

There will be food, drinks, and games that represent every decade from 1900-1999.


At 5 p.m. there will be a tribute for the former Executive Director Larry Ann Evans and a dedication for the Larry Ann Evans Exhibit Room.

Guests are invited to come in costume for their favorite decade and a prize will be awarded to the best dressed.

RSVP’s are required by August 23 and can be done by calling the museum at 315-946-4943 or visiting the website at www.waynehistory.org.

Admission is $20 for members, $25 for non-members, and $5 for children under 12.

Tickets can be purchased in advance or on the day of the celebration.
