A recent study has shown that Covid-19 can lead to long-term memory issues in people who have survived the disease.
The results vary from person to person, many referencing a “brain fog” issue and saying they can’t remember themselves before Covid.
Researchers are unsure of what may be causing this issue, but some believe it could be related to brain fog and low oxygen when sick.
Dr. Justin Nistico, infectious disease specialist for Arnot Health, says the issues may not last forever but can be present for awhile after infection.
