Rochester Red Wings lose fourth straight in Buffalo

The Red Wings lost for a fourth straight night Friday falling to the Buffalo Bisons 6-3 at Coca-Cola Park.

The Wings (33-50) have only scored in two innings over the first four games of the series.

Trailing 4-0, Rochester did all of their damage in the seventh inning Friday. Alex Dunlap hit a two-run homer – his first as a Red Wing — and two batters later Humberto Arteaga went deep to cut the lead to 4-3.

But the Bisons would score a run in the bottom half of the inning without recording a hit and scored an unearned run in the eighth for insurance.

Keibert Ruiz and Ali Castillo each had multi-hit nights for the Wings.

Buffalo swiped four bases in the game, but was just 2-for-15 with runners in scoring position.

Game five of the six-game series is Saturday afternoon in Buffalo.
