Palmyra man taken into custody after FBI child sex crimes investigation

Investigators say a Palmyra man was taken into custody for possessing a sexual performance by a child, as well as another charge.

Kent Uittenbogaard, 33, was charged with possessing a sexual performance by a child and promoting a sexual performance by a child following a lengthy investigation initiated by the FBI Crimes Against Children Taskforce.




Information was received that child pornography was being downloaded at an address in the Town of Macedon.

After a lengthy investigation, members of the Taskforce determined that he was completing the downloads.

He’s accused of also using an employer’s server to obtain and view the downloads while at work.

He was remanded to the Wayne County Jail.
