Deputies: Report showed Ontario driver had fentanyl in system during Rt. 104 crash

An Ontario woman was taken into custody after a crash on State Route 104 on May 29.

Following a lengthy investigation, Patricia Catalano, of Ontario was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, and following too closely.

Toxicology reports returned blood results that showed a positive result for fentanyl at the time of the crash, according to deputies.

She was released on an appearance ticket and will answer the charges in local court in September.
