A fire in Camillus Thursday morning destroyed a barn and killed a bull resulting in a total loss, according to officials.
The fire happened in an old dairy barn on Van Alstine Road that was no longer in use.
It’s unclear how the fire started and is still under investigation.
The fire was difficult to put out due to heat and the amount of hay inside the barn, but was contained within 90 minutes.
Multiple fire departments from across Onondaga County responded to the fire.
