Elmira College is requiring all students to be fully vaccinated before fall break on October 8, 2021.
Before school starts in the fall, students are required to show proof of vaccination or provide a negative test within 5 days of arrival.
Students that aren’t fully vaccinated and do not have any exemption are required to get at least a single dose by the end of September.
Medical and religious exemptions may be submitted for approval.
Staff must follow the same set of guidelines laid out for students.
Students that choose to not become fully vaccinated by the date in October will not be allowed to stay on campus and will lose a portion of their tuition, housing and meal plan payments because classes are only offered in-person this fall.
Masks and social distancing is required for anyone unvaccinated.
