Due to heavy demand and an apparent lack of drivers Lyft and Uber were not very helpful after a recent concert in Canandaigua.
Luke Combs performed last week on two nights at CMAC, and there were challenges after, according to Sheriff Kevin Henderson.
“We had people coming up to us saying their Uber or Lyft ride didn’t show up,” he told Finger Lakes News Radio. Apparently, due to excessive demand in the area- Lyft and Uber were not responding to ride requests after the concert ended.
It was even difficult to get onto the websites, according to Sheriff Henderson and some who attended.
“It’s important to have a back-up plan,” Henderson added, noting that the sheriff’s office cannot provide rides under those circumstances.
