Police report the arrest of a Penn Yan man following the intentional damage to a Mercedes-Benz sedan.
Eric Updike, 30, of Penn Yan, was arrested by police after investigating the damage to the vehicle.
Updike allegedly damaged the vehicle intentionally after the owner the owner intervened during a domestic dispute between Updike and a female.
The damage was worth $1,400 and Updike was charged with criminal mischief in the third degree.
Updike was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in Penn Yan Court at a later date.
