Police in Corning are investigating after a 14-year-old was stabbed on August 2.
Around 7:25 p.m. police were dispatched to the area around Centerway Bridge, near the YMCA for a report that a teen had been stabbed.
First responders found the boy, who had multiple stab wounds.
The child was airlifted to Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital.
He has since been released.
The Corning Police Department is being assisted by the Steuben County District Attorney’s office.
