Following one person being shot during a domestic dispute, Chemung County deputies arrested a Southport man.
The incident occurred Monday night around 6:30 p.m. and police responded to a report of gunshots on Bird Creek Road.
Upon arrival police found a 34-year-old man who had been shot with a rifle.
Kinner allegedly shot his adult son with a rifle during a verbal argument.
The son suffered a non-life-threatening injury and was released after treatment.
Kinner is charged with attempted murder in the second degree and has been sent to Chemung County Jail on $100,000 bail.
