No injuries were reported, but an emergency landing led to a few scary moments at the Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport early Sunday evening.
A plane traveling from Buffalo to Newark, New Jersey suffered a significant fuel leak, which resulted in the plan making an emergency landing at the airport in Rochester.
Airport Director Andy Moore told News10NBC that the United Express flight had 55 passengers on-board.
The pilot noticed the fuel leak on the aircraft’s wing- that’s when the flight was diverted.
Passengers were shuttled to the main terminal building at the airport after getting off.
