Bipartisan bill would help improve the country’s roads, bridges and mass transit systems

The U.S. Senate will be negotiating a 2,702 page bill that focuses on a $1 trillion dollar investment to improve roads, bridges, and mass transit systems.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said Congress hasn’t passed a significant stand-alone investment like this in decades.

If this legislation is passed it will be the biggest U.S. infrastructure investment that has been made in decades.

This bill opens opportunity for other things ahead, like a “human infrastructure” bill backed by Democrats, and electronic charging stations for cars, as well as ways to combat climate change.

Right now the goal is to get this bipartisan bill squared away.
