Governor Cuomo has suggested that business owners should play a role in the attempt at getting more people vaccinated.
Cuomo said private sector businesses could help by only allowing vaccinated individuals into their establishment and said it was a safe business practice, working as an incentive for both the businesses and the people to get the vaccine.
Owner of Sunhee’s Farm and Kitchen in Troy, Jinah Kim, said she took it as a suggestion, not mandate, and that it should be up to the business owner.
Kim said the effectiveness of getting customers to wear masks would be more likely, especially with breakthrough cases happening to vaccinated individuals.
