A Webster man faces an array of charges after leading police on a vehicle pursuit- and stealing a deputy’s vehicle.
Robert Sciarrone, 27, has been charged with grand larceny, reckless endangerment, unlawfully fleeing a police officer, resisting arrest, obstructing governmental administration and other traffic and vehicular violations.
On June 26 around 11 p.m. deputies in Livingston County say they tried to stop his vehicle on I-390. That vehicle sped away, driving over the median, traveling south on the northbound lanes of traffic, and crossing back into the southbound lanes.
It ended when Sciarrone again went over the median and struck a tree.
After being placed in custody, Sciarrone is accused of stealing the deputy’s cruiser. He lost control of that vehicle and crashed when he attempted to exit I-390.
He was formally charged on July 14.
