Rochester residents left with mixed feelings surrounding CDC mask guidance changes

After the CDC’s announcement on Tuesday suggesting everyone wear masks indoors despite vaccination status, there are no current plans for a mandate in Monroe County.

Rochester residents are still pondering what the future holds, with or without a mask mandate.

Some residents voiced being fine with wearing masks while others said they feel confused about the changes.

Governor Cuomo stated that he is currently talking about it with state health experts to decide what this means for New York State.
