With the State Fair right around the corner, they are looking to hire 2,300 employees for the longest schedule the fair has ever had.
Troy Waffner, director, said they have received around 300 applications for parking and 100-200 for grounds.
While they may not get the full 2,300 they’d hoped for, they’re getting a significant amount.
Wages are over $15 an hour and anyone who works all 18 days can receive a bonus.
Hiring is going to last through the last day of the fair on September 6.
