Police in Penn Yan say a Seneca Falls resident was taken into custody after a bench warrant was issued for his arrest following two separate cases.
Donald Burd, 21, of Seneca Falls failed to appear on multiple occasions for a charge of endangering the welfare of a child.
He was taken into custody in Seneca Falls, according to police, who say he was turned over to authorities in Penn Yan.
He was additionally charged with sex abuse, forcible touching, and endangering the welfare of a child.
He’s accused of forcibly touching a 12-year-old female during an encounter in the village of Penn Yan.
He was transported to the Yates County Jail to await arraignment.
