After multiple cars claimed to have broken down after purchasing gas at B&K Food Mart in Onondaga, the gas station has been issued a violation.
While many drivers reported the issue, the number could be even higher based on social media posts.
Drivers claimed that water was found in their gas tanks and repairs were as expensive as $1,300 dollars.
Upon investigation, a leak was located in the underground fuel storage tanks as well as a leaking recovery valve needing to be repaired. These issues as well as rain likely caused the issue of watered down gas.
