Geneva man accused of pulling fire alarm when there was no emergency

Police arrested a Geneva man following an investigation into a fire alarm that was pulled at a city apartment building.

Brandon Loomis, 32, of Geneva was charged with felony falsely reporting an incident.


He’s accused of pulling a fire alarm inside his apartment building, which caused alarm and inconvenience to residents, according to a news release.

After investigation it was determined that there was no risk of person or property at the site.

He was taken into custody without incident and will answer the charge at a later date.
