Deputies: Rose driver was on drugs at time of near-crash on Route 104

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Rose woman months following a near-crash last November on Route 104.

Investigators say Rachel Rossborough, of Rose was charged with DWAI drugs, reckless driving, moving unsafely from lane, criminal possession of a controlled substance, and criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument.

It’s alleged that she was driving east on State Route 104 last November in the town of Williamson- and was observed swerving. Her vehicle then swerved twice more- forcing another vehicle over the shoulder of the roadway.

Investigators say toxicology reports came back with blood results showing a variation of different drugs in which Rossborough was under the influence the night of the traffic stop.

Rossborough was transported to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office to be processed on the charges. She will appear at a later date in local court to answer.
