Cody Grabhorn took over as the new executive director for the Ontario County Historical Society on June 1, replacing former Executive Director Marci Diehl.
Marci Diehl took over for Ed Varno when he retired in 2020 after 25 years of service.
Historical Society President Chris Hubler said Diehl resigned in March for personal reasons, but he was sad to see her go.
Hubler speaks positively of Grabhorn, stating that his education, enthusiasm and leadership will put the organization in a great position for the future.
Grabhorn grew up in a small community like Canandaigua, and lived in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Virginia, Pennsylvania and now the Finger Lakes.
