Assemblyman John Lemondes is shocked that the Democrats are in such opposition of Chick-fil-A being a restaurant included in the renovations at rest stops on the Thruway.
He said it has nothing to do with a political agenda, and that it’s strictly about commerce.
Lemondes stated if a person doesn’t support the establishment then they can go eat somewhere else, but “don’t deny them because of their Christian values.”
While some local leaders have written to the Thruway Authority in opposition of Chick-fil-A being included in the renovations, Lemondes has written in support of the establishment’s inclusion.
