The BoatHouse Club at Seager Marine is now hosting weekly Friday community events called Flotilla Fridays from 5:00PM-8:00PM which includes live music from Seager’s new second story deck. People can enjoy the music from the deck, dock or water on inner tubes, kayaks and paddleboards. Seager is partnering with local businesses to provide food and beverage for sale. A schedule of the entertainment is below. These events are rain or shine and will move inside to the second-floor event space with large, lake-facing windows if the weather in inclement.
Peter Coons, co-owner of Seager Marine comments, “Our intention with these events and cruises is to provide greater access to the lake for everyone in addition to supporting other local businesses. We feel it’s important to partner with and support local food and beverage providers when we host events. As the saying goes – a rising tide lifts all boats.”
The outdoor deck and event space is also being used for weekly Saturday morning spin classes at 8:00AM offered by Compass Cycle starting July 24. Classes are open to the public and can be booked soon on their website (compasscyclestudio.com).
The 1,700 square foot lakeview space is available for renting for private events and corporate meetings. Combining meetings and events with water activities like kayaking, paddle boarding or captained cruises creates a unique summer experience. Email Jennifer Hess at [email protected] for pricing details.
Also available to the public is the addition of a two-hour captained sunset cruise every evening starting at 6:30PM. The cruise costs $75 per person or $600 for a private experience. Food and beverage can be enjoyed on the boat. Wine tasting cruises are also in the works.
