Schools still seek guidance for regulations in the fall

As schools try to figure out Covid-19 protocols for the fall, the CDC announced that vaccinated staff and students do not need to wear masks inside at school.

Jordan-Elbridge Superintendent Jim Froio says parents can expect some sort of loosening on the rules, but not for them to be completely gone all at once.

The Department of Health said it will release an update on guidance for the start of the school year in the coming weeks.

The CDC is encouraging schools to offer voluntary routine testing at least once a week.
