The 23rd annual Cycle the Erie Canal tour held by the statewide nonprofit Parks & Trails New York has cyclists from 34 different states crossing the state along the canal.
The cyclists stopped in Seneca Falls on Tuesday after completing their second day of the eight day tour that spans 400 miles.
The tour covers 40-60 miles per day and cyclists are using the Erie Canalway Trail that is now 85% complete.
Cycle the Erie Canal riders are required to either be vaccinated or periodic negative COVID tests.

Tent City Overnight Location: Vince’s Park, 2904 NY-318, Seneca Falls, NY
8 a.m.-11 a.m. – Morning Rest Stop: Palmyra Canal Park
11 a.m.-4 p.m. – Afternoon Rest Stop: Clyde Village Park
Wednesday 8 a.m.-11 a.m. – Morning Rest Stop: Port Byron Erie Canal Heritage Park
