Deputies say an Auburn woman was airlifted to Strong Memorial Hospital on Saturday after suffering head and neck injuries during a motorcycle crash in Yates County.
Cynthia Ross, 56, of Auburn was traveling with friends on Route 14 in Starkey when she struck the back of another motorcycle- after it slowed down abruptly.
The collision caused Ross to lose control of the bike, which slid on its side.
The driver of the other motorcycle- Joseph Tullo, 56, of Seneca Falls, and Melissa Barnes, 57, of Cortland were not hurt.
