Auburn is hosting a new walk/run to support the recovery community in Cayuga County.
The We Run 4 Recovery 5k will be Wednesday, July 14 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Memorial City Hall in Auburn.
The run will begin at 7 p.m. and pass by historic sites in the city like the Seward House Museum and Case Mansion. The run will end back at Memorial City Hall.
Registration is $25 for adults and children under 12 are free. All runners will receive a race day shirt as well as refreshments after the race.
The race is organized by Nick’s Ride 4 Friends, an organization that provides resources to people in recovery from addiction.
