Rochester Red Wings blow late lead in loss to Buffalo

The Buffalo Bisons scored three runs in the ninth inning to steal the 3-2 victory over the Red Wings Tuesday night at Frontier Field.

Tyler White, who had a home run robbed in his previous at bat, hit a two-out, two-run homer off Wings closer Dakota Bacus in the ninth to put the Bisons in the lead

The game was scoreless into the seventh inning when the Wings got on the board on RBI hits from Blake Swihart and the rehabbing Andrew Stevenson.

Josh Rogers allowed just three hits and no walks over 6 1/3 innings. He struck out five over his 94-pitch outing.

Gabe Klobosits made his Frontier Field debut in relief of Rogers and worked 1 2/3 scoreless innings.

Jake Noll was the lone Wing with multiple hits Tuesday.

The Wings (22-32) and Bisons continue their week-long series on Wednesday night at 7:05 PM.
